Experience: I have recently relocated to Cape Cod after nearly 20 years in Denmark, where I played drumset with a jazz quartet and country-rock group, congas and bongos with two big bands and a small ensemble, drumset and and percussion with a world music group and surdo, caixa, repinique and timbau with a Brazilian carnival group. I am currently playing congas and pandeiros with a Latin jazz group and am looking for other opportunities in the Cape Cod/Greater Boston area or Providence.
Sample: Here I am playing all the percussion on “Kiu Diablo" from the EspoDespo album Esperante.
And here I am playing with the combined Voadora and Abanda at Carnival in Rio, 2011. Look/listen for me at around the 4:55 mark, playing timbal near the center of the shot.
A little cajon, backing Catie Flynn, and some congas behind Joanna White.
